1. Establish an inclusive active community

What it means: What it doesn’t mean:
• Respect challenges and diversity • Insensitivity
• Offer encouragement and support • be involved
• Stay focused on abilities • Enabling inactivity and allowing negativity

2. Make a positive impact on health and fitness

What it means: What it doesn’t mean:
• Lead by example: Walk the talk • Paying lip service
• Share your experience and expertise • Propagating myths or passively gathering information
• Plan the journey, execute the plan and get measurable results • Avoiding Challenges and/or accepting excuses

3. Make a positive difference daily.

What it means: What it doesn’t mean:
• Relate personally with a positive attitude of gratitued. • Self-centered and/or assumptive thinking
• Create positive experiences • Gossiping and/or criticizing
• Share successes • Creating negative cliques

4. Empower self and others.

What it means: What it doesn’t mean
• Embrace challenges • Avoidance
• Encourage growth • Only wishing for change
• Celebrate success and appreciating good efforts • Accepting the status quo and/or not appreciating success
