Creative and unique water themed figure on a coin illustration needed

Hi,
I am looking for an artist who can draw me a figure with some background for a coin that will be sold via kickstarter. We need 3 coins for that project which would make 6 images. But in this contest I only need 1 coin which is 2 images, front and backside. If you win this contest then we hire you for another 4 images (2coins) and probably some more follow up projects in the future. We also add 1% of the first kickstarter campaign sales to your reward (paid around 2 weeks after the campaign was successfully funded).

Here is what we need for the artwork:
Waterthemed, think of Poseidon, Seahorses, Evil Fish, Meermaid ect.
You can also draw Cthulu inspired character types(half alien/human half octopus), but no copies! In general you can go crazy, make undead fish, octopus eating a ship, be creative! And since this is a coin, we need some text added around it. Again, be creative, make it a Fish Cent, a Poseidon Dollar whatever you think works. Frontside normally in coins is a figure and backside is an animal.
If you go for a water themed new interpretation of a morgan dollar, then we need the real morgan dollar text and ojbects in this coin.

I do like the elephant here :-) But I also could imagen a morgan dollar with Liberty as a meermaid and the eagle on the back a s speerfish skeleton. BE CREATIVE :)

Technical stuff
All coins will be metal and have a sculptured surface, meaning different hights/3D. So we need 2 different files to make this happen, 1 is the normal artwork in .ai or any photoshop compatible file 300dpi. The other file is a .jpg that shows with arrows or outlining how high each area on your artwork is (the producer needs that data to sculpture the coin). The entire coin area is 1.5 inch/39mm. But if you want to make it a bit bigger or smaller for some reason that is also ok, just let me know.

And last, the coin is metal so we only got that metal color which means your artwork can be black and white. So you can use at the most 2 different colors! We can change the materials in all metal colors, from silver to gold and even some blue is available.

A coin also can be cut in, meaning it can have a different shape and doesnt have to be perfectly circled.

Please don`t hesitate if you have any questions regarding this project. You also can add some rough sketches on the this contest and I will comment on it before you make it "nice".

    I have extended this contest. It seems the water themed coin idea didnt work out too well so far. I therefore encourage all to improve on their designs and I am also open now to all kind of designs. So if you have any coin idea that pops nicely in 3d form, please feel free to participate in this contest even if it is not water themed anymore. Be creative!

    One thing I have noticed with many artwork here, they are very busy and small objects in it. Please consider that it is a small coin. The best artwork for a coin is mostly one figure, best not even full body. Big heads and maybe upper body seem to work well with a coin.
