I need a book cover designed. The title is Echoes of Creation. It is the sequel to The Price of Creation, I've attached that image below.
Possible elements you could use from the story could include:
Sword-like claws
Small black stone pendant
A broken blade, no hilt
Ridiculously high cliffs
Armbands

For the winner of the project, there will be a follow-up project to convert it to a full cover.

I have done my first round of eliminations. I hope that the remaining entries will help refine what I'm looking for. Many have used the stone pendant in their cover design and I do like that, although I should have described what it looks like in the book. It is described as black and in the shape of a small bird's egg, like a robin's egg. There is a magical-type energy associated with the stone, so if anyone wanted to show something similar to writhing threads of dark energy, that might be a fun effect.

To be clear. The blades I'm talking about have nothing to do with Wolverine or the X-Men. So I'm going to clear out the cover designs that have those elements.
