The Scottish LGBTI Police Association represents police officers and staff in Scotland who identify as LGBTI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex).
We are looking to update our current logo (attached) which consists of the Scottish Police crest - the Thistle and Crown emblem - incorporating the Rainbow Flag colours with a Scottish Flag blue (Pantone 300) surround.

We are keen to keep any new logo circular (although not essential) and should, where possible, include the LGBTI "Rainbow Flag" colours. Any logo design does not have to incorporate the name "Scottish LGBTI Police Association" - indeed the current "Crown and Thistle" logo is often used on its own,

Essentially we are looking to replace the "Crown and Thistle" part with something new. It would be ideal to have a connection with Scotland (the Thistle is the Flower of Scotland) and possibly a police link.

I have also attached the old "Northern Constabulary" logo which incorporated a Celtic 'knot' design - just as a reference. We are not necessarily looking to have any Celtic imagery.

Due to Heraldic Laws in Scotland, we can't use the Crown, Saltire (Scottish Flag) or Lion Rampant in any design.

We are very much open to new and original design ideas and genuinely looking to work with a skilled freelancer on this project.

As a voluntary association we do have a limited budget but open to negotiate. Indeed we can guarantee the fee as advertised and more (up to £800) if you are prepared to receive a bank transfer.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a winner via this platform as we have alternative options open to us however all design/idea submissions will be seriously considered.

    Our committee will meet on Wednesday 27th to consider all designs. Thank you to everyone who have contributed thus far and made additional alterations. The winner will be announced this week and we will use the winning designer for future work (e.g. website, letterheads, video graphics).
