  Designers, please be sure to read comments attached to each design to understand better what is working well and what is not. Please don't just use the star rating. I'm looking for a designer who is truly excited in finding a creative / unique way to represent the unique idea of this group. I won't award the prize to just new ways of arranging the text or leaves. A couple of you have begun to use the skull idea--cool line drawings, not too complex. I like that, and I'd like the skull to become an even bigger part of the design.

  A skull with a flower or branch coming out of the top of the skull or out of an eye socket. Something shocking without being horrible.

  I would still like to see something that incorporates a skull. So many of the entries use leaves, and I'm not convinced that's the way I want to go. The idea is that death makes us bolder--not just that new life comes from death. Death is terrible, but facing it NOW makes us bolder and more focused to live more fully now.

  Thank you for your creativity! I've received a lot of entries with leaves. I'd like to see other ideas for how to represent life and death. One designer used the scarab symbol from ancient Egypt. Very cool concept. I don't think it will work for my purposes, but that's the kind of creative thinking I'd like to see from some new entries. I had originally wondered if a skull with flowers coming out of it would work--a very stark contrast between life and death. That approach may be too obvious, but what can you come up with?

  Hi, everyone, and thank you again for your entries. As entries come in, I realize that I like "Graveyard" and "Group" much more prominent in the design than "the." Also, the winning graphic will look equally good B/W as in color. Blue, green, and orange have been used a lot, and I'd like to see what black / gray and green would look like. Thank you! Keep the entries coming.

  Based upon some of the entries so far, I want to clarify that "corporate" isn't the feel I'm going for. I want clean and professional, but this is a group devoted to giving people an opportunity to change their lives in big ways--using the inevitability of death as a motivation. The winning logo will reflect the very unusual emphasis of the group. Thanks to everyone helping me bring the concept to life visually!
