I need a logo for a my new software company, Byzantium Interactive. We mostly make games, but I want the logo to be general enough that we can make any kind of software. It is not necessary that the word "Interactive" be included in the logo, that part is up to you.

I am not sure what style I am looking for, but it should be distinctive enough for trademark rights, but not too complicated. Either a wordmark, or a word+image is good, as long as the logo lends itself to both a rectangular and a square version for different applications.

Here is one idea: Maybe a retro, pixelated logo like an old arcade game, with an emblem of a double headed eagle in the same style.

(Please avoid designs that look similar to Byzantium Fundraising, Byzantium Information, or Byzantine Solutions)

    Further ideas:
    - Symbols of ancient Byzantium, or a motif inspired by mosaics, could work.
    - But, it should be updated for a modern look.
