We are a cat rescue in need of a logo! We are a charity organization. We are called Cats for Keeps, and we want our logo to capture our mission, which is to help homeless cats and kittens find loving forever-homes. We would like our logo to be unique/distinctive, eye-catching, recognizable from a distance, and clean/modern in appearance. It should be easy to interpret (we had previous designs where people didn't understand what they were looking at). If using the name in the logo, it should read: Cats for Keeps. (Upper and lower case as shown.)
One idea that captures our concept is a cat in an embrace/hug. We are especially interested in concepts that use the imagery of a cat in a hug. But we are open to any concept that compellingly captures our mission.
Some adjectives that describe us are: loving, caring, rescuing, saving, helping, homing, connecting (as in, connecting cats with loving humans).
Our main use for the logo will be facebook and other social media. But we will also develop print material at some point, such as large banners for market tables and fundraising events.
We like script font mixed with serif or sans, but we would not want a script font that was too fancy to be read easily. We would like a logo that can work in either colour or black and white. The only colour combo we don't like is black and orange.
We appreciate the hard work of the designers and we will not close the contest prematurely.
