  Only if it was told before that this was going to be used for the nft purpose. And here i was wondering that he needed a character design for something else.... Lot of time wasted

     Cauz nfts (not all but mostly) have a particular drawing style which the contest holders wants. And this drawing style is mostly inspired from the nft - ape club. And as you can see the submissions have the similar drawing style ( black outline , dominant colour and a shading colour - there are no smudges). Most of the time people ask for the similar art styles like doodles, azuki, mekaverse, ape club, goblintown. If you notice you will find that each of these nfts have different artstyles which makes them unique.

     I apologize for the confusion on that, you do have an awesome style.
     
     We are choosing the winner based off the most creative attempt, whether it suits us or not.
     
     As the primary reason for this contest was to see the different concepts and possible art styles people would use.
     
     We didn’t want to restrict creativity by giving such references like you’re saying in your comment.
     
     
     Never the less, we work with a lot of artists and builders. And anyone who submitted awesome work has been noted and may have job opportunities due to their effort in this contest.
     
     As well we are currently hosting other contests, and have others starting soon, there may be a concept that better suits particular artists throughout these.
