This PCB design is for a personal automobile racing hobby of mine. My vehicle's factory throttle body (basically a motor-actuated air valve) uses two wires ETCSM+ and ETCSM- to position the actuator as shown in the attached circuit diagram. The existing motor is 2.85 ohms, and draws under 5 amps at 14 vdc. This actuator motor is being replaced with a much larger motor that draws up to 15 amps (1.35 ohms) for racing purposes, but the factory controller can only handle 5 amps before it cuts out.
