Victron inverter monitoring with Arduino

Brief: I want to log and display data obtained from a Victron inverter and a solar charger, using an Arduino Uno. The programs for reading data already exist in Python, but I want them redone on the Arduino, assuming there is sufficient memory to run this. Introduction: The Victron inverter range uses a Modbus communication protocol, converted to RS485 with a interface cable called an MK2, and terminating in USB. The protocol is called [login to view URL], attached. Currently there is a deprecated python script to communicate to the inverter range via the MK2 via USB. I would like this script to be rewritten for an Arduino uno. Existing [login to view URL] code: [login to view URL] The chargers (MPPT's) use a RS232 protocol called VE.Direct. Existing [login to view URL] code through USB, but I would like to interface with a MAX232: [login to view URL] Requirements: I would like a full design and code for an arduino that presents the following data on a 16x2 LCD screen (Rotating sets of values between screens): 1 - Daily power drawn from grid, and daily power to load 2 - Battery voltage and current from inverter 3 - Input voltage, current and power from inverter 4 - Output voltage, current and power from inverter 5 - Daily and current solar power production from MPPT 6 - MPPT state, battery voltage and battery current Hourly data must be stored to a SD card, for the moment one that is housed a W500 ethernet shield.
