Android Application Developer

Bring deep, hands-on technology expertise to the table on Mobile platform and will be responsible for supporting delivery teams through architecture, design and build in the capacity of a technology subject matter expert on Mobile platform. Job Description 1. Good Knowledge of Android Components and functionality. 2. Good hands-on experience in Android. 3. Good debugging skills in analyzing android native crashes, software watchdog, uncaught exceptions, ANR issues, CTS issue, Memory leaks, etc. 4. Worked on Android Application framework porting. 5. Worked on Android System Testing, Android Application Development, troubleshooting and Bug Fixing. 6. Good Knowledge of API definition and API creation. Must have good exposure of GPS and MAP API Integration. 7. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, form factors and material design. 8. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services 9. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices 10. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning 11. Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as touch 12. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers 13. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks 14. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements 15. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications 16. A knack for benchmarking and optimization 17. Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines 18. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git 19. Hands on experience with Android studio & gradle build system 20. Familiarity with continuous integration 21. Eclipse & ANT based build system 22. Knowledge and Experience on Kotlin / Flutter (Dart) is a plus 23. Knowledge on Junit/Unit testing. 24. Hands on experience of Feeds generation. 25. Good knowledge of Source Code Control Systems (Jenkins, GIT/ Gerrit) and Jira. 26. Experience on Android migration / upgrade. 27. Experience in customizing the applications based on customer requirement. 28. Working closely with different teams to support the fixing process. 29. Ability to coordinate with various team members involved in the project. 30. Good analytical, design and problem-solving skills. 31. Object-oriented analysis, design, development, implementation of the business application. 32. Linux and Windows Platform Experience.
