Talented, creative and well driven humanitarian aid worker and a program management person, ready to learn new skills and open to new experiences. Inspired by ethical and good conducts in regard to my profession as manifested from execution of responsibilities. With over 6 years in project management and 3 years in humanitarian aid work coupled with years of experience working with children at risk as well as women and young girls affected by gender based violence (GBV). A graduate in Social Work and currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Social Work at The OpenUniversity of Tanzania (OUT).
My work experience is generally on humanitarian relief work, qualitative research work and development programs with extensive experience managing donor funded projects funded by UK-Aid (DFID), USAID, PEFPAR, The Global Fund and Governments. I have been part of the team that strategically implements one of the durable solutions of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) “Resettlement” to unlock protracted refugee situations for Congolese and Burundian Refugees.
I posses excellent writing, analytical, editing and reviewing skills. For over 09 years now i’ve in the NGO sector and with International Organizations whereas among other duties i’ve responsible for periodic writing reports, project proposals, research works, technical documents, helping fresh graduates with preparing their paperwork (CV and Cover Letters) etc.
