Convert our web based, parts stock app, from access to MySQL. The app is written in classic ASP, HTML and some javascript/jquery with AJAX. No changes should be required to the html or javascript. All that is required is to go through the ASP code making changes where required to enable the MySQL db to be used. The scripts must remain in “Classic ASP” format and not be converted to .NET Fully working demo can be seen here - [login to view URL] The left hand menu has two levels and then when a second level is clicked the parts are then loaded into a div in the centre of the page. Each part has icons that can be clicked to indicate that it is low or out of stock. The 'plus' icon to the right of each part can be clicked to expand and load more detail. When the app is initially loaded a report showing all the stock that is low/out together with the supplier is loaded in the same div. This same report can be used to reset the status of parts that are low/out. All parts can be searched using the 'search' box at the top of the left hand menu. The red circle icon at the top left of the page can be clicked to show links to enable the editing/addition of the parts and level 1 & 2 categories. A copy of all the files are attached in the Zip file. Hello- I am a skilled .NET developer specializing in Web Application development and troubleshooting. I have developed websites using ASP.NET with MySQL databases, and would have no trouble converting your back-end code to the .NET framework and moving the database over to MySQL from its current Access format. There are numerous tools available that can be used to convert the database, and once this is done the main functions ('UpdateRecord', 'InsertRecord' & 'DeleteRecord' ) can be converted over to ASP.NET directed at the new MySQL DB.
