For this project, you’ll prepare a set of three AutoCAD drawings. One drawing will be a residential floor plan showing the building’s HVAC layout and a schedule of HVAC outlets. The other two drawings will be transition pieces that are part of the HVAC layout. For your first drawing, you’ll use the floor plan shown on sample Plate A. Use this inaccurate drawing as a guideline for creating the floor plan to scale and when adding the HVAC system to the floor plan. The isometric drawings provided on Sample Plate B will help clarify some of the details of the building’s HVAC system. For your second and third drawings, you’ll draw pattern developments for two transition pieces that are part of the HVAC system.
