Hello, My name is Wesley and I have more than 12 years of experience in VB.NET; both in my professional life and for personal projects. The projects I like doing best is automating repetitive tasks. I have quite some experience with communicating to different types of databases (Access, SQLCE, PostgreSQL). So I have written quite some libraries over the years that I can reuse. Though I haven't worked with MSSQL yet, it is quite similar to SQLCE that I have used in the past; I can easily adjust my library to use it for MSSQL. I also have a written a library to open, read from and write to excel files. So reading the data from the CSV files hardly requires any work for me. I have done an almost identical project in the past. I had created a small program (.exe) for this. On the form there was a fileselector to select the input file, and a second one to select the database. (In that case it was an MS Access database, in your case it will be the credentials to connect to your database.) After reading the data, it was displayed in a Data Grid View, to review and update the data if necessary. (You say you need the data to be imported into a temperary table. I'm not sure if it also needs to be visible, but it is possible.) Afterwards the connection to the database was established and all the data was updated or added into the proper tables.
