Hi there, I am an Aerospace Engineer with the expertise of more than 3 years in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and I'm pursuing my Master's degree in CFD as well. I have worked on projects including design and analysis of Cessna aircraft for cowling and duct modification, design and analysis of compressor and turbine cowling to determine blade tip clearance and CFD analysis of different machines and equipment. I'm an Aerospace Engineer, specialising in aerodynamics within the fields of Aerospace, Automotive and Renewable Engineering. I am currently a consultant aerodynamicist with over 10 years of CFD and Wind tunnel background. For this project, I would use the OpenFoam CFD solver or Star CCM+. This is a pretty straight forward problem to solve. I would require a few more clear parameters that will have a sensitive effect on the system. I would use ANSYS Fluent for this type of study as it is most commonly used for its versatility. I have simulated many FEA problems along with coupled system analysis as well as many fluid problems such as flow through nozzles, radiator heat transfer, venturi meters to name a few.

I've more than 4 years of experience in SolidWorks and ANSYS. I've been working on these softwares since my pre-semester of engineering. I prefer solidworks on other cad modeling softwares because of its integrity and materials library. Solidwoks can do rendering of 3D models more efficiently and it provides plugins with ANSYS Workbench. I've also pretty good experience in ANSYS CFX and Fluent solvers because my final year project was in CFD Analysis of a turbine. I know how to apply sufficient and what kind of boundary conditions to converge results. I've also good experience in generating efficient mesh for CFD or FEA analysis using ICEM. Hi sir. I have seen your project and found interesting. So I have established simulation model and done your project for one condition(Q=10L) in 5 hours. The result photo is loaded on my profile and you can see it. I have done it in Fluent software. The analysis on the other 3 conditions(Q=25L,50L,100L) will be take about 2 days. Hello. I am interested in your project as I find it straight forward requiring a single parameter (Pressure drop) with variable flow rates and the end of the analysis. Within the last 2 months, I have carried out CFD simulations for tunnel with high speed train to monitor shockwave dynamics and aerodynamic profile for airfoil to determine drag and lift. I use Ansys workbench (Fluent, spaceclaim, CFD post) for my works.
