Requirement:-   About the job  Role Summary:  The role is based in the Chennai at DBaaS Software Pvt Ltd facility. We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer who can command all textual content contained within the product and created for a specific squad. The Technical Writer must always advocate for the user. If something is unclear or inconsistent, the Technical Writer should speak up and offer alternatives for improving the product’s content, design, and functionality. Working on both new and existing software development projects, you will be a member of our website development team. Throughout the development cycle, you will plan, create, construct, and provide support for a scalable product of the finest quality. You will have the chance to work with the newest technologies and procedures, including continuous integration and deployment with a cloud-based environment.     You will also be a part of a team that is welcoming and experienced in many different areas.   Job Location:- On-site (South India)  Work From Home is optional for (Other Parts of South India)  Job type: Hybrid  Experience: Minimum 2 Years (Mandatory)   No Freshers can apply!!  Responsibility  UI text content for new and existing features on wireframes Error messages, in-app notifications, toast messages, email notifications, templates, and API-related content Contributes to the development of new procedures and guidelines for the erection, assembly, installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and operation of DBaaS designed equipment. Maintaining a repository of all squad-related content Always adhere to the Service style guide and update it as needed. Regularly reviewing existing UI content Writing documentation for new and updated features, including the addition of Services, Images, and videos as needed. Writing announcements for major feature releases for internal channels, as well as for user messages and newsletters When features are added, revamped, or deprecated, documentation and other UI elements must be updated. Working with third-party vendors on scripts, translation queries, and course and tutorial videos. As part of the specific role, performs document quality checks in accordance with project/client/internal requirements. Receiving, reviewing, filling, and retrieving project/internal documentation Coordination with the team must be there typically, work will be reviewed by more experienced colleagues.   Preferred Experience / Skills: 2-3 years of Experience with All writing skills (Who can handle Website Wireframes Contents, Services Description, and more which is mentioned above).   Minimum qualification:  Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field with a focus on English, writing, marketing, or communications. 2-3+ years of user documentation or technical writing experience Experience and working knowledge with content management systems and knowledge base platforms. Experience with user documentation best practices. Strong written and verbal communication and experience working with content in multiple mediums (mobile/online). Ability to bring cross-functional teams together to complete documentation requirements, creation, review, approval, and publishing. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects. Preferred qualifications:  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field.  Experience must be categorized through Content Writing/ Technical Writing.  A self-starter mindset – the ability to juggle multiple projects, review Previous Content, and Addition of new fresh content.  Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills  Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.  Experience writing multi-component systems or micro-services, with architectures requiring efficient inter-application communication.
