Greetings. I wish to apply for the job posting. My qualification is in Mechanical Engineering and I have experience in product design. Which includes designing knives. The knives that I designed were for the defense sector, camping and some kitchens. These were NDA project hence not allowed to keep the design files. I have worked with startups as well. Since you mentioned Kickstarter. I use AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Ansys or SolidWorks is used to check the structural integrity of the blade. Impact stresses [on the hilt/handle] is also calculated if the knife is used for puncturing. Willing to sign a NDA if required. I am also interested in what type of blade.
