Configure NetBeans To Work On MacOS For C++ Projects

Hiya - simple install did not work, and I am out of my league here.
I need to be able to use Netbeans for C++ on a Mac.
Can someone resolve the issues that I get when I create new project so I am able to code C++ on Mac?
