We are looking for ongoing, reliable in-house IT and administrative support to keep our small but diverse internal environment running smoothly. This is a hands-on role supporting staff and systems day to day. Most of our stack is out-of-the-box software, complemented by custom in-house software and applications that support how we work. The work is varied and practical. One week you might be contributing to a project to improve or streamline existing systems; the next you could be onboarding new staff, troubleshooting a line-of-business application, assisting with configuration issues, or handling general administrative tasks that support the wider team. There is also an element of research and information gathering for internal projects, such as evaluating tools, documenting options, or helping scope improvements. Our environment is Windows-first, heavily based around Microsoft products (some in which are customised), alongside our custom warehousing/order management software and basic CRM systems (including SugarCRM) also in use. You should be comfortable supporting users across platforms and confident working within established systems rather than rebuilding them from scratch. You’ll gain experience supporting internally developed software, including basic database maintenance, application troubleshooting, and liaising with external developers when issues arise. Clear communication matters. You’ll be expected to explain problems and findings clearly, both to internal staff and external developers and maintain concise documentation so the rest of the team can stay aligned.
