Drupal - Form submission redirect using hidden value

I have created a webform that receives a value from the URL and stores it in a hidden form field. After submission of the form, I want to use that hidden form field value as the redirect URL. I need someone to help with this part. I was very close to getting it to work and just don't have the time any more. Please only experienced Drupal developers who are familiar with proper Drupal mechanisms (form alter hooks, etc).

I would use a token in the url path and if a token does not exist then create a module that creates the token. Is this project in Drupal8 or Drupal7? Cheers Dan
