Hi, I have experience with Small antennas design. This antennas have several constraint due to him small size, i can cite low gain, small bandwidth. I have knowledge on miniaturization techniques, also, some of the more use antenna type there are the IFA and the MIFA antennas that i can to implement for you, i understand that you want an etched antenna on the PCB, however use a 3D structure can improve the gain. For improve the match with the RF device we can use a broadband impedance matching network too. I can understand that this antenna is only for testing, and not will be an internal antenna within a enclosure and i only need to design it on a PCB with the connector, however if the antenna will be used as an internal antenna after, the enclosure can affect the resonance frequency shifting it, and for that is possible put a self resonant antenna at 700 MHz with and section for an impedance matching network for that you can solve the problem of the future presence of a enclosure, maybe, it can be a second project o a part of the same in where i design an self resonant antenna taking into acoount the presence of the enclosure. The steps for solve this problem are: 1.)
