I have worked on similar project before using Smoke ,Temperature, Humidity Sensors, Buzzer and relays (for FAN) with email & SMS alert ( using IFTTT) , AC control project i have done separately for other client. Gas dedecrion is needs to be done by someone that has done it before. The reason for it calibration. I have experience on pi also on gas detection. Without calibration sensors might have different output for same gas densty in different days
