Hello, I have (4) years of experience in Electronics, we don't need to use a microcontroller for this matter, we can use simple analog/digital electronics using discrete transistors and resistors, maybe for the casing we can use a sensor that will output directly to transistors not to microcontrollers, I can provide hardware proof to what I am saying here.
