I've read your job description and I can help you with this project because I have 5+ years of experience using Arduino and interfacing it with sensor modules. For your task we can use any small Arduino board, for example, Arduino Nano and interface it with a PIR or any other motion sensor for motion detection, and then operate the siren/alarm based on the sensor output. For arm/disarm, I think Bluetooth would be better as far as secure communication and link reliability is concerned. I would be happy to do this for you. I have done similar project which is intruder alarm for shop where if any motion detects during certain time period for example during night when shop is not on this system will raise alarm and trigger SMS to owner for motion detection.
