I worked as ANSYS CFD tools (CFX, Fluent, TurboGrid, ICEM CFD, ..) specialist for 4 years, during this time, I held lectures and trainings of these tools and CFD fundamentals. Being a part of aerodesign team ( Vimaanas) which competes in aerowest SAE aerodesign team, I find this project very similar to my expertise Lets Start with 3 basic question What:- The problem deals with stability analysis of a UAV ( most probably fixed wings) in some real life conditions which includes heavy cross winds or something similar as it is not suggested by the employer. Why:- I am an well experienced freelancer which bids on projects related to Fluid flow and thermal analysis. The purpose why I bid is the fact that stability analysis includes hell lot of variables (6DOF) and very smooth mesh for getting some real life results, I have been doing such simulations for a lot of iterations (when I was part of the team), And I knows the difference between a simulation result and real life results , so I am confident enough to take this project. How:- I use ansys fluent, Where I will use dynamic mesh with 6DOF solver to find out the position and orientation of the craft when subjected to the given situation. It can accurately predict the certain important properties like center of pressure, Aerodynamic center and neutral point . Later I will Make a report describing the results.
