Hi there,
To answer your three questions,
1) I do not currently trade any cryptocurrencies. I have done a fair amount of due diligence on mining companies that trade on stock exchanges, and I certainly follow Bitcoin, but I need to see some of the CCs recover some value before I consider them as an investment.
2) I currently own 8 "regular stocks", 4 long term call options and 4 speculative penny stocks.
3) I started trading in early January (just as Bitcoin peaked). I was attracted to Canadian pot stocks, which actually went on a similar trajectory to crypto (i.e. they went on a HUGE run in early January before tanking at the end of January).
Lost a lot of money on pot stocks, then made some money playing volatility during the market correction, then made some money on tech stocks, before surrendering a lot of my gains trying to play penny stocks. I'm now making money after completely overhauling my investment strategy, and navigating the tariff wars.
I adore talking about investments. Cryptocurrencies fascinate me, but I must forewarn you that my knowledge and understanding of the less mainstream ones (i.e. non-Bitcoin or Ethereum) is limited.
Thanks for reading,
