Creating website with online store e-commerce

Hey there, Please, let me provide some brief background. We currently have got e-commerce store on Wix website, which works quite nicely in terms of “accessibility”. We are not IT Developer people, who are able to create website from scratch in PHP or HTML or whatever is currently on top on the market. We are quite happy about how easy is to add features to our website. We can edit content to our website and utilize available app from Wix. We are also very happy about how inventory works and how easy is to add products to Wix and then it appeal on our website. However, we experience some difficulties with Wix and we made decision that we need to “change something”. We are not happy about: -how slow website is when customer want to use it, -limited availability o payment gateway for card processing (we had to use stripe, which is not good in our mind, but it is separate task to do, please see other job, which we posted) -sometimes our website stops work, we had to contact support, then wait and it is a shame that we website is temporary down, we lost money, customer and time. We consider few option and will appreciate your guidance : -somebody will design / literally copy web page from what we have to another alternative platform to Wix, however we need first check this platform, place few test orders to make sure that it works and of course it is able to process card payments from customer without holding money for ages. Ideally, if you are experience person and can advise what will be great fit for our business and our needs. We have already review alternatives such as Shopify, Wordpress, Bigcommerce platforms, however we are not happy about this platforms. It seems to complicated for us to editing this websites. Maybe Wordpress is not bad at all, however has got very limited features compare to Wix apps. We can’t add features, apps to website, chat option, as easy as on Wix. We will be most grateful if you can come up with solution help us on that matter. OR -somebody who can design/create website and integrate easy inventory system for adding products and things like that. Main thing is that solution need to be easy to use. This is the priority. Really often we make changes to our website, change some text, add image, and we would like to do it by ourselves. We don’t want to involve highly skilled IT professionals every time when we have to change something. Wix did the job in that case. Another thing which we need your advice and guidance is domain registration, where is the best to do that and the most secure, so page won’t go down. I think it is all requirements.
