Have BTN-GROUP working well with radio button, but need make it work for checkbox to.. with active class

I have radio button that use JS for add css (active) with radio button, but not working with checkbox since if we click on another the active class is removed, since it is for radio button and we can only choose 1 with radio, but with checkbox is not working.
here is the script
