So, admin (can be considered as the owner) will create profile for employees with name, email, mobile number, role etc. Admin will be able to create / update projects and assign employees in any project. Each project will have unlimited small tasks. For each and every task you can set a time limit (in hours and mins), the status for these tasks will be open. The assigned employees for that project will have the list of tasks for that project in their dashboard. From there they will be able to select one and start the task. When they start any task, the status of the task will be "in progress", the timer will be started, the employees might need to pause the timer at any time for some reason. So, they will be able to pause the timer and can enter an optional reason for the pause. If the employee takes more time than the assigned time, then the timer will turn into red. You (admin) will be notified immediately about it. However the timer will not be stopped. Once the job is completed, employee will set the status as "Complete". Please note, completed tasks can also be re-opened by the admin only. A log will be maintained for each an every task so that things can be recorded like, when the task was started, paused, complete / re-opened. Each task will have option to leave comment. Both assigned employees and admin will be able to leave comment and comment against comment. If you have seen Trello board, you will get an idea of it. Can discuss further, please leave a message.
