Wordpress site is really slow. Has to become really fast

under 2 seconds is unrealistic especially when you have so many images and content / plugins - also given the host response time is on the slower side, if you can change the hosting, I can get it to 3-4 seconds, if someone claims they can bring it under 2 seconds, you can give it a shot and see if it goes through - CL
