I would like to hire an Infographic Designer

We are a group of researchers working on the use engineering tools to understand cardiovascular disease and individual treatments for patients. we use simulation tools (for example, computational fluid dynamics) to simulate blood flow in diseased vessels, giving the clinicians we work with, haemodynamic information that might be useful to treat the patient. We also use experiments to mimic an individual patients' condition and treatment (for example, by 3D printing his/her aorta, carotid arteries, etc.). We have 2 chunks of work that are related but desperately need better infographics/figures to be competitive for funding bids or to enter high-impact journals: 1) We are about to submit one paper to a top journal that is about the analysis of retrospective data on how important is to treat early patients that have had an arteriovenous fistula for dialysis (essentially, these are patients that suffer from renal failure; an operation is done on these patients, surgeons connect a vein to the arterial network and the blood is 'cleaned' through the access created by the vein). These patients have a very poor life expectancy because their fistula (the vein/artery connection) usually blocks and there is a point when there are no more veins/access possible. The patient will die without dialysis. Is a desperate state of affairs). The paper is quite short and right now we only have 2 figures that are a bit dreadful. I think we need to make it more appealing to the Editors. 2.- We are currently writing a grant on the use of novel tools to treat cardiovascular disease. This includes simulations and experiments but is right now confidential. Happy to chat more if the 1st project is successful.
