Hi! I help people from other countries learn our everyday American slang words and expressions through my books. I'm now creating a workbook and I'm looking for a cartoonist/illustrator to do about 75-100 humorous illustrations. The illustrations need to be very exaggerated and funny in order to show the idiom both literally and figuratively at the same time. For example, in the American idiom, "to bend over backwards" -- It literally means "to bend your body in a backward position" and figuratively it means "to help someone." So the illustration may show someone helping another person while bent over backwards in a silly way at the same time. I"m happy to send you samples of the style of looking for. I only need the outlines (or black lines I believe they are also called?) as I can colorize them myself. Thank you!
