algorithm with a code for traceability system

i need to introduce blockchain to my code. we will use it when we do connection with two different players in supply chain. like supplier distributor or to other supplyer. also we have to put specific steps in the supply chain like in reception and end of production . also we need to know the cost that we need to pay for the blockchain (fingerprint in each step the way we do it and implement it)
