Hi seeing your project description just brought back painful memories around fixing CORS issues with an API I deployed on aws/lambda a few weeks ago. The issues ended being fixed after hours of digging through logs and stackoverflow threads and I did walk away with a valuable knowledge I can use to help you quickly fix this issue.
By "serverless" do you mean you are using the serverless application framework or just a serverless architecture pattern? Either way I'm pretty sure it will a quick fix once I take a look at it!
