Rewrite part of AWS SDK for Javascript to work in older browsers

We need to use certain functionality (single operation with very specific configuration) from AWS SDK for Javascript. We need it to work on as many browsers as possible, ideally starting from IE6 and old Firefox/Safari. AWS SDK is complicated however since we need to support only certain configuration we expect that it should be possible to extract parts of the relevant logic, and modify them to work successfully on old browsers. I've got example request (AWS Kinesis - PutRecord), and will provide test case with security credentials for testing. I need someone who is a real hacker, with unbreakable "can do" attitude. The configuration to be supported is the old-style access key/secret key authentication. Attached is the example HTML, it would work if you had access key/secret key (will be provided on project start).
