Typically, as you yourself mention, there should be no issues with the migration. Joomla core positively will have no issues. An issue may arise only if some of the other extensions you are using may not be designed following the standards and methods provided by Joomla. A full test however would be most effective only after the migration. We can then quickly go about resolving any issues. Moodle, by itself, will not have an issue with https, but moodle is towards its life end and future versions of Joomla are likely to stop support for moodle. If you are specifically using moodle, you should also prepare yourself soon for that inevitable situation in future. Regards
