We cleared a bunch of trees and brush from our backyard so we could see to the stream behind us. Still a lot of woods behind the stream and along the edges of our property but need ideas of how to do an easy low maintenance landscape so there's color down there and it's not taken over with weeds again. I primarily already have most of the plants that I bought on clearance (looking to do this cheap so open to purchasing a few more, but generally clearance stuff). I can send pics - needs to be quick turn around though since I need to start getting these plants I bought into the ground. The area does periodically flood so there's that too. Water generally only stays a day or two though before it recedes and happens only a handful of times/year.
