Hello, This is very much possible. You can view the remote desktop of your Ubuntu from your WIndows desktop. There are few things to be done to get this desktop access. You need to install a VNC server on Ubuntu. And if you install a desktop gateway like Guacamole, you can see your Ubuntu Desktop through a Web browser. I can setup all these in 3 hours. Hi In linux tools that provide this service usin a protocol called RDP (Remote Desktop protocol). I've worked with rdp server from long time ago and I can provide you with clear instructions if you liked to do yourself or I can set up for you without problem. Even, If you dont have platform I can recomend you with valid providers because Iǘe worked installing rdp servers using their platform. Does desktop env is installed on ubuntu or its just minimal installation. If it has done minimal installation then will need to install desktop env too.

The short list of the servers and services include but are not limited to: Web Server (Apache, Nginx, IIS), Mail Server (Postfix, Exim, PowerMTA), DNS Server (BIND, Unbound, MS DNS), Firewalls (Iptables, PFSense, etc.), basic scripting (BASH) etc. As for the project, yes it is possible. I have a lot of UbuntuMATE virtual desktops and access them using VNC. I usually use a service like Vultr or Digital Ocean but we can find you something closer to homefor you if you would like.

I've no problem with linux and windows administration, mail servers, vpn, dns, networking and firewall configuration. I use all the Ubiquiti family products, pfSense on most complicate scenarios, sometimes Mikrotik. Oscar
