Specifications subcontracting platform Magento 2.

1) Context

The current project consists of creating an add-on for our Magento 2 platform. This add-on will all the All-Taxes-Included’s display of the products based on the category( or an ID of the category) of the product and the geographical area of the client. Our platform being a marketplace, a product can be part of multiple offers coming from multiple sellers. Sellers submit their offers without any taxes applied and from a dedicated platform ( MIRAKL).

Our target is exclusively spread in 5 areas :

Guadeloupe - French Guiana - Mayotte - Martinique

- Reunion Island

Hosted on a dedicated server

4) Perfomance Expected

Calculation of the price with all taxes included depending on the geographical area

Elements of calculation:

- Offer all taxes included : PTTC

- Offer without taxes : P HT

- Custom’s taxe : DO

- Value added taxe : TVA

- Docking : TOM

- Regional Docking : TOMR

- Shipping : TRANS

Management rules :

- The DO for a product’s category is the same in every area

- The TVA, TOM and TOMR changes based on the area selected and the category of the product

Formulas :

- For an offer coming from a seller from EU, the DO is applicable

- For any offer below 205€, the DO isn’t applicable

So we have :

1st case : the offer is below 205€

PTTC = P HT + TVA + TOM +TOMR +TRANS

2nd case : the seller isn’t member of EU and the offer is over 205€

PTTC = P HT + TVA + DO +TOM +TOMR + TRANS

Registering of the taxes in the back end :

- An interface in the back end will allow the import of the taxes in CSV

- The import of an existing taxes will override the first one

Verification of the tax based on the delivery address of the customer:

Before the validation of the cart, the system will have to verify the final area selected by the customer et do the calculations based on that area

5) Expected Results:

a. The price one the front end will be displayed with all taxes included based the delivery address defined by the customer

b. The delivery area selected by the customer in by default selected when they enters the delivery parameters

c. The all tax included price is calculated again if the customer selected another delivery area

d. An interface in the administration allows import and export of the taxes

e. The integration will have to be documented

6) Ergonomic Expectations:

When the customer enters the platform a popup comes up asking the customer to select his area.
