We are seeking a Magento 2 Expert that is comfortable managing / importing / mapping data from various sources.
Domain: Performance automobile
Source 1: SEMA DATA COOP (SDC) - [login to view URL] - Currently has 504 brands of products
Source 2: [login to view URL] (DCI)
Source 3: Distributor #1 we work with (API) (contains their inventory and some product data)
Source 4: Quickbooks - Contains our inventory.
Source 5: Distributor #2
It would be great if we can add more sources later down the road, without having to "code".
We expect a method allowing us to view and import, into our website, data from various sources.
We expect customer orders to export into Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise into sales order, making sure the sales order will not overwrite an already exisiting sales order, nor create a sales order number that will break Quickbooks sales order sequence. Items not already in Quickbooks' database will have to be created
Products can have multiple statuses:
"In Stock"
"In Stock USA"
"Special Order"
"Contact us for Inventory Status"
(There may be other statuses)
PREFIXES:
Our products contain "prefixes". Vibrant Performance's prefix is "VIB". Example: "VIB 2701". One supplier uses the prefix "VIB" but does not have a space character: example: VIB2701. Some other supplier uses the prefix V32 for Vibrant Performance. Example: V322701. Another supplier uses "VPE-" as a prefix. VPE-2701. We will need to have a way to make the websiite understand that VIB 2701 = VIB2701 = VPE-2701 = V322701 and display inventory status for each supplier (without naming them) whenever the status is not "in stock".
Attributes:
We will have to have a way to "map" the attributes so that product are properly populated with their correct attributes.
We selected Magento 2 as our platform because we want to use it's multi-site capabilities. Our main website, [login to view URL], will contain all the data.
