I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). I also have ITIL (Foundation Certification. I have been managing projects for clients based in USA, Canada and UK for the last 20 years. An overview of my activities in previous projects:
Budgeting: I help Project Sponsor to create the annual Budget. I also create project plans (which also includes the Quality, Risk, Stakeholder and Human Resource Mgmt plan (which includes recruitment plan)
Recruitment: I estimate the number of resources & skill sets and take interviews.
Meetings / conference calls:
Stand Up Call: I invite Designers, Developers,Testers and other relevant team members to review work items which are stuck.
Weekly Call: I run weekly calls with Project Sponsors, Business Users, Designers etc to ensure that highlights, issues and concerns are known to all.
One to One meetings with team members when required
Sprints: I participate in the discussions and give my inputs.
Monitoring: I monitor the project, update project plans with actual data and circulate before (weekly) meetings.
Defect Calls: I review the test cases and monitor the defect calls. I review action items from these calls with Business Analysts and High Level Designers and convene RCA / quality meetings when required.
Implementation: I monitor all implementation activities, often for 48 hours at a stretch.
This is just a subset of my experience. Based on the requirements, I shall tailor my approach and execute the projects with due diligence.
