Calculate the mediam time for data

I will pursue PhD in applied mathematics in the next academic session.I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2016. I have experience of implementing Factor Analysis, Principle Components analysis, multivariate regression , ANOVA , Regularized regression methods like LASSO and Elastic net, classification and regresison trees, Monte Carlo methods etc. in R. I have attached a few of my codes on my profile. I have had the opportunity of working as a research assistant at IIM Lucknow, where I looked into a data set pertaining to market advertisements , and I gained some experience in statistical learning. I ,also, worked in Nomura as an investment banking intern in the equity derivatives team. I have had the exposure to financial derivatives and have worked on momentum based strategies. I had taken up another project at IIT Kharagpur , which was pertaining to statistical learning , especially localized regularization. I have the experience of working on Excel VBA and R. I have sound knowledge of Linear Algebra, Mathematical analysis and probability theory. I am, currently, exposing myself to machine learning and a study of the theory of derivatives pricing.
