Hi, I have very strong proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, financial models). While I had some exposure to BI, I have much more experience with Excel Power Query and, to a lesser extent, Power Pivot. From my experience, Power Query is better for managing data than BI, but BI has excellent visualization capabilities.
