Hi there, I could develop such an app. It would require a device with camera (preferably an Android device), and it would need to stand still (which is likely to be true, as it's about to be a photobooth app). Once the app is started, it will get familiar with the background (photobooth wall). Once someone clicks "Take photo" it will take their photo allowing them to change the background behind them. The app will know which pixels are to be replaced with background - only those that remained the same to what it analyzed to be "nothing in front of it". Not sure if my explanation is good enough, let me know if I need to explain better. I would develop this as a hybrid android app, so it would be very easy converting this to a web app if you ever want to do that.
