Back-end Developer (Node, Express, AWS, Heroku, MongoDB) -- 2

Needs to hire 3 Freelancers We are looking to outsource some of our services to an external developer... THE JOB (examples of user-story) ------------ User story 457: 1. We have a working node.js-express REST API that takes to longer than Heroku's hardcoded timeout (30 sec) to complete. 2. The developer needs to build a demo WebSocket API that takes longer than 30 seconds to complete - to test if it's supported by Heroku. In this demo, you'll be using setTimeout to send a keep-alive message every 20 seconds, and an ending message after 1 minute 3. If it works - the REST API should be converted to WebSocket. Otherwise - we need to change the architecture and split the REST API into 2 servers: RESTful server and a worker server. 4. Also, develop the front-end's Javascript SDK for easier implementation in the front-end. 5. The REST API, along with details about how to convert it into a WebSocket or a Worker service, will be revealed after starting to work together. User Story 460: Convert existing APIs to TypeScript (The APIs will be revealed after starting to work together). User Story 466 Convert existing functions using Voluum's API, to use Binom's API WORK PROCESS The work process will be as follows: 1. First, we agree on a permanent hourly price. 2. Then, we send the user stories (see the first one above). 3. You read the user stories, and decide how many billable hours will each user story cost (i.e., price quote). 4. We decide if to agree and develop the user story or not. If we agree, then: 5. You build the feature. 6. You commit the code through GitHub. 7. We compile and do QA according to the user story's instructions. 8. You fix bugs. 9. When everything works to our satisfaction - we pay you. 10. If the development (including bugs) took more or less time - it doesn't matter, the price will be as agreed (see #3 above).
