I am looking for a small application that is a mail client that will run on windows and check for new messages at a defined frequency. When it receives an e-mail it will connect to a database using ODBC perform the query and then send the result back as either plain text or CSV via e-mail. It needs to support outgoing mail authentication as required by some mail servers. The e-mail example format should be: productionDB user password Select name,id,dept from employee CSV email address The mail program should hold a list of all mail received and results sent. This information needs to be easily inspectable and printable. The program will be checked to work with a viarity of ODBC connectors including Oracle and Access. There also needs to be an option of restricting incoming commands to only those that have arrived from a cusomisable list of e-mail addresses that are stored in the application. A bonus upto 25% will also be paid with ammount dependant on the quality of the code and comments, number of bugs found be me on testing. If you have examples of work that is similar or you think demonstrates your ability please include this in with your bid. Ideally the program will be written in Visual Basic or Visual C++ please include in your bid the langague you intend to use
