Users can visit the site and signup for a free profile, browse other profiles & send initiations to other members. If they choose to make contact, they purchase credits and send messages within the dating system. We have different levels of membership offered Level 1 is public: users can visit the site and mini-browse our members profiles. results show only certain details Level 2 is a signed up user. They have a login and can enter the members area of the site. They can browse, search, make initiations, etc Level 3 is a paid member. They have the same abilities as level 2, but can also make contact via internal mail-messaging. The mail messages are sent via credits, which can be purchased in package amounts for certain prices The system would need to handle issuing and maintaining credit amount status for the entire member database Our members area will be unique because of a control panel for members to quick access vital membership and dating profile information. We will explain further regarding this control panel post-hire The system will be hooked up to a 3rd party payment gateway (ie paycom, ccbill, paypal) to handle our sales We will also need an admin area for us to handle profiles, sales, memberships etc. During the initial launch of the system, it will have the ability to give users a chance to earn free credits based on sending us referrals to new members. They provide X number of emails to let us send out invitations. The user will earn X amount of credits for completing the offer. This free credits offer will last as long as it takes to reach a member base of 5000. After that the offer will be removed Lastly, we plan to launch a Level 4 membership after we reach a member base of 10000. this feature is down the road so we will explain more post-hire. Its not very complicated so no special coding experience will be required ## Deliverables -FIRSTLY, please be aware we will work closely with the hired coder to achieve our desired product. We will give you the time needed to get the project done to our liking, as long as any mini changes are addressed as the project progresses in its stages of completion. A major portion of the entire system we want built is laid out below, however some mini items may get tweaked as the system is built - updates on progress 3 times per week - everything packaged together in a working website version that can be installed onto any of our domains with ease -admin area with the following features: profile moderation, sales reports and statistics, member reports and statistics, membership moderation (ability to freeze, activate and cancel memberships), marketing tools for changing prices and offering deals for free credits. We will comprise a set number of ready made 'deals' to be used in this portion of the admin area -front page where users can login, or new users can browse our profile database for free and view limited details from resulting profiles (nickname, location, age, picture and intro) If they click on any of the results, they will be taken to our signup prompt page. -new member signup form. a multi-stage process where users will enter their desired information and membership choices (opt in for rating system, opt in for members slideshow) new users must be moderated by the admins, from within the admin area. -the profile database itself; mysql database to handle the entire systems members profiles. Every user will have the same types of information as part of their account: username, picture, introduction, description of themself, age, location, likes/dislikes choices etc... -new members who are signing on for the first time will be prompted with the option to earn free credits if they supply x number of emails for us to use for invitations. This prompt will only be available until our database reaches 5000 members, after which the system will disable the option. The system will have to authenticate the emails supplied as genuine, and if x number of emails supplied are legitimate, the system will add x number of credits to the users account -within the members back end, the users will have the following capable functions: -ability to browse the database using a dropdown of premade search filters -ability to search the database using custom filters (by age, by location, by must-have-photo, by likes/dislikes, by online activity, by rating) -ability to send other users 'initiations' to eachother, in the form of pre-made messages, -ability to recieve initiations -ability to give other users a rating (an opt-in option for members to decide) -ability to send users mail messages if they have sufficient credits, -ability to recieve mail messages from other members, further contact between the same 2 members will stay 'free' -ability to cancel their own accounts from the control panel (re-confirmed opt-out) -ability to change their profile details (must be re-moderated for any changes) -a members control panel. This control panel will be very evident on all pages in the members backend. The panel will consist of 'consoles' of information. We will explain more post-hire. The coding involved for this control panel is moderately advanced, as it relies on dynamic information display. Please email specific questions to me regarding this feature if necessary -the system needs to be hooked up to 3rd party payment processors. Members have the capability to purchase credit packages for certain prices. Credit Card processing will be handled by 3rd party websites such as Paycom, CCbill and paypal. the system will need to be intergrated to use such payment gateways. Upon confirmed payment, the system will add the credits to the users account. -Level 4 membership. We will describe this is more detail post-hire. This feature is not difficult to code as it is a small extra feature ontop of a level 3 user. It will be an opt-in feature added to the members control panel. We would want the level 4 membership setup and hidden until it is ready to be launched (at 10000 member mark) at which time its just a matter of us 'unlocking' the membership option in the administrative area and it will show up in the site. -skinable site design, styles controlled by CSS. Uses one major stylesheet file. The capability to change the style theme of the entire system via only changing the stylesheet. -assistance in installing, troubleshooting the final product during the test runs on the system ## Platform The dating system must be compatible with all major browsers currently used by internet users. Mainly IE, Mozilla and Netscape. The stylesheet used as part of the system design will need to also be cross-browser compatible. The dimensions of the website will have to be older-resolution friendly, ie fit within a persons browser window if they still run on a 800 x 600 resolution. (keep design at a constrained 750 pixels width max) We would like to have a page layout where the user will never have to scroll (regardless of screen resolution) so keep that in mind for size of items. The design and layout of the site will not be heavily addressed by the coder, but more so our designer who will work closely with the coder to put everything together when the time comes.
