Project name: Web based Time Attendance software Details: Our company has its own IT development department that has developed Visual Basic 6 and Access based Time Attendance software that run on Windows based Desktops. This software gives reports in Excel. Please find links to download a demo version of this software along with detailed manual in project specs. This software has two integrated parts. This software can import data from certain devices manufactured by us and also from few other vendors. It also has a generic import mechanism so that data from many other devices can be imported. This is important part of the software. We would like that such database can be made available to the software by uploading the log file online or if preset path is provided to it where the file reside on the internet (like url). We now want all reports in html and also exportable to PDF, excel etc. in desktop version it already give this functionality. PHP/Perl versions shall work on both Microsoft and Linux platforms+ Apache, ASP version shall work mainly on Microsoft platforms. It will also give you very good know-how as how to make web based GUI's. We would like the web based GUI to be very similar to current one so that our customers can easily migrate. [login to view URL] source code is also available but this will not be available to you. Only for some parts like Analysis of data and mathematical calculations vb source code will be available. We will also give vb source for the import of data. Overall main business login will be available but GUI and reporting related source code will not be available. Our engineers will be also available to clarify you the source code related issues. Documentation for the source code is not available. 4.A list of new features will be given that need to be added. it will e more related to new reports, new web features that normally desktop software do not have but on web they become easy to provide like upload download, email alerts, web base employee login and management, integration with other existing web based system to share same user database and exchange data among each other. All this will be a common thing for a good web programmer. We will also provide a separate project and bug management system where your team will need to report for bugs found by our team.
