There are 5 different Programming assignments. I have listed 4 here. The fifth one can be found at: [url removed, login to view] numbers 1 through 5 are the programming requirements for each program 1. Your code should conform to Sun Microsystems coding conventions. 2. Javadoc output. 3. Program listings with global comments before each class describing the objects it is intending to model. Also, provide global comments before each method describing its action, arguments, and returned value. 4. A test plan including a description of the test scenario, test data (include a rationale for the selection of the particular values,) and expected results. Your test data should include at least five sets of input data including boundary conditions and error conditions. 5. A hard copy of the test execution with handwritten notes commenting on the results. ASSIGNMENT 1 Create classes for the following types of PC components: PCSystem Case Power Supply Motherboard CPU Memory Video Card Sound Card Ethernet Card Floppy Drive Hard Drive CD Drive Keyboard Mouse Monitor Printer Speaker Each class should be composed of the components shown indented directly below it. Each class instance should have a data member with the name of the instance. For example, an instance of printer might have a name of "Epson Stylus 600" while another instance might have a name of "HP Deskjet 540." Also, each class should contain a member function, cost(), which returns the cost in dollars of the instance. In addition, each class should include a member function, toString(), which returns a nicely formatted string containing a recursive listing of the components making up a component. Create an input file, [url removed, login to view], with your favorite editor with the following format for each record: Component class, component name, and component cost. Include three components for each Component class. The data file: [url removed, login to view] contains data for testing your program. Create a file loading program, loadcomp, which reads the file and creates an object

## Deliverables

Assignment 1 continued.... Sample code can be found in the following files: [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] PowerSupply.java. Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. Note that the data members (except for name and cost) contained in each component are null for assignment 1. In this assignmet parts are just being created, they are not being linked into assemblies. Finally, use each object's toString() method to print a report displaying the contents of the fifty-one objects (17 x 3) created from the [url removed, login to view] file ASSIGNMENT 2 In this program, pickle, we will enhance the prior assignment by adding a collection class to hold the objects created in assignment 1. The class should be instantiated once, and all instances of the objects should be added to the instance. Name the collection class Components. The reference for each component object should be added to the componets object. Once the components object has been populated, it should be serialized to components.ser. Verify that pickle worked sucessfully by recreating the components object from [url removed, login to view] and use the toString() method to print a report of the contents of the components object. ASSIGNMENT 3 Convert the Components class to a JavaBean with additional methods to support the complete specification of a PCSystem. Supply icons, a manifest, and a JAR file. The JavaBean should support the construction of a PCSystem object with its data members selected from components in the components object. Allow the composite data members of the components to be specified from selection lists built from the components object. Build three PCSystems using the BeanBox tool (or your own driver program,) put them in their own container and use toString() to print the PCSystems. ASSIGNMENT 4 Use Swing to build a GUI application, pcconfig, which support the display of the PCSystems created with the BeanBox. Use the Swing JTree component to allow the hierarchical configuration to be exploded/collapsed in the display.
